Clear Skin

So I have not been blessed with clear skin and I break out alot on my face. There's almost no controlling it, it's in my genes. I break out the most on my chin and I have small pimples on my nose where it's also really red. I know this is pretty gross but I'm on a mission to battle my problem areas. So here's what I have been doing.

First of all, if I'm not out or with anyone where I don't feel completely comfortable around them, then there is no make up on my face. I know that everyone says this kind of thing all the time, but I have just started doing it for this week and I have seen such a difference.

Second, I have been using this mask I got from Target. It is the Boots Botanics Conditioning Clay Mask. On Target's website it's $8.Mine smells kind of weird, but I don't know if they all do I think mine must have gone bad, but I use it anyways haha. It's the classic green face mask, which I love. Anyways I just put in on my face and let it dry for about 10-15 mins. The mask is a clay mask that sucks all the dirt and everything right out of your skin. After it washes off your skin is SO smooth. It's help clear up my skin and I love it.

Also I can not stress how important a toner is. I used to not use one because I never realized how big of a difference it makes. After you wash your face, you use the toner and it takes everything off that your cleanser missed. I am sometimes shocked how much is still on my face. I use a clinque toner myself.

Also make sure you're hydrated. I used to think drying out my face was a good idea because it would help clear up my skin. I was so wrong, it breaks your face out more. It's great to exfoliate off the dry skin too. I don't do it everyday, but every other day is working well for me.

So stay clean when possible, mask it up, TONERS!, and keep it soft and smooth.
It's important to find what works for you, so it's okay to switch things up. Just remember that alot of the time, you're not going see results the next day and good things sometimes take time.

Good Luck everyone! Let me know about your tips and what advice you have to share with others.
